And you thought I never posted here anymore…

My roommate is a cat with absolutely no sense of privacy.

Before eating an apple, I twist the stem off, reciting a letter of the alphabet with each twist. And the letter on which it twists off is the letter of the first name of my true love. Cuz I’m still in grade school evidently.

My hair is awesome. That should not be news to you. But lately, it’s been a whole new level of awesome. Thank you genes and Wen!

I like egg noodles and macaroni straight from the package. Crunchy!

I can’t stand drinking water from a plastic glass (has to be a glass glass), but don’t mind drinking from a plastic water bottle.

I like playground swings (especially the big ones that I can fit it). I especially like ‘bailing out’, because I still believe I can fly.

There are boxes in my garage that I haven’t looked in since… probably 1998. sometimes i wonder what’s in them…

I’ve actually now raced the car 5 times, and lost once… I backed off when the speed limit got a little too high for the residential zone through which i was driving (it wasn’t really a residential, but I do know where the speed traps are on that road). Even the driver that beat me wants a rematch!

I have never been snow-skiing. I was raised a couple of hours from like 16 major ski resorts, and have never been. I prefer warm and unbroken, thank you.

I may appear egotistical, but deep down, I’m still pretty awesome. Just sayin.

I’ve only actually raced the race car 4 times (and won each time, btw). It’s not all about the car though, it has a lot to do with who is in the driver’s seat.

I’m not a big swimmer. Love the lake. Love the ocean. Swimming me no likey. I can stay afloat, that’s enough.

Evidently I like to run; it’s new for me. I never really got into it, even in the Army when I was good at it (probably because I had to do it). But now, every morning there is a run of some type.

I love to cook. It’s very zen and meditative and creative. I don’t mind company in the kitchen, but don’t help. I got it.

Second favorite movie is “the Fifth Element”… because love saves the world (and they blow stuff up)

Just for fun I played the bassoon in marching band once (don’t you call me a nerd!)

One of my most favorite movies ever is “Somewhere in Time” with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. (what the crap, they don’t even blow anything up!)

I don’t find Eddie Murphy amusing (except for Donkey in Shrek). Not funny at all on his own. I won’t put up with it. (I get an alarming amount of argument there, which makes me worry for the future)

I can’t snap my fingers. I know how (so don’t try to show me how easy it is), I just can’t make my fingers do the movement. Hasn’t really been much of a problem for me…

My most favorite band ever is Styx. So much talent; they don’t have any bands like that anymore… not even Styx is like that anymore!

I did the vocals for a demo album. (look at me trying to impress you)

While in the Army I lived for 2 years in Japan, 2 years in Germany and 1 year in Massachusetts (3 foreign countries – ha!)

My full name is Robert Dee Hathaway – I’ve always been ‘Dee’.

On the morning of December 30, 2007 I had a heart attack - 99% blockage in one artery. I was sitting on the couch reading the funny papers. I had Captain Crunch cereal for breakfast and haven’t eaten it since.

I have been an minister since 2003 and performed my first wedding in March 2010.

I joined the Army February 12, 1987 and served 5 years.

My first car was a 1969 El Camino. Of course I pulled the 283 out of it and put in a 396. Oh yeah!
